Xiaomi Mi4i release date
The Chinese Xiaomi Mi4i release date was back in April 2015, and it launched in India in early July. There's no word yet on whether the Xiaomi Mi4i will be coming to the US or UK, but we've contacted Xiaomi to get more details on this. We'll update you as soon as we know more.
Xiaomi Mi4i price
As you'd expect from Xiaomi, the Xiaomi Mi4i price really deceives its features. While we don't know what price for western markets would be, the phone launched for Rs. 12,999 on the Indian Amazon site, which converts to around 200 USD or 130 GBP.
Based on the specs, we think this is one of the best value-for-money smartphones you can buy. Of course, we'll need to write up our Xiaomi Mi4i review before telling you whether the impressive specs are as impressive when put to the test.
Xiaomi Mi4i specs
The Xiaomi Mi4i specs inevitably aren't as powerful as those of the Mi4, or as jaw-dropping as the rumored specs of the Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus, but they still offer great value for the price. The Xiaomi Mi4i features an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset clocked at 1.1 GHz, with 2 GB RAM.
Also onboard is a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera, a 5-inch 1080p display squeezing in 441 pixels per-inch, and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop overlaid with Xiaomi's MIUI 6 interface.
Rounding off the Mi4i features are dual-SIM support, a 3,120 mAh battery, and 16 GB of internal storage space.
